Why we built it:

When multiple “best moment” triggers fire at once (say, due to a significant moment such as the user arriving home), campaigns can collide, overwhelming users and eroding trust.

What it does:

  • Enforces a minimum interval between two “best moment” notifications (default: 20 minutes).
  • Ensures only one campaign fires per eligible moment (based on your manifest order).
  • Allows toggling and interval adjustment in Edge Console.
  • Tracks which campaigns were skipped so you can monitor performance.

Why it matters:

Fewer interruptions, more impact. You maintain relevance while preventing notification fatigue, boosting CTR, and reducing opt-outs.

2. Travel Abroad Micro-Segments (Now on iOS)

Why we built it:

To give marketers and analysts consistent visibility into travel behaviors across platforms. Previously, only Android supported travel-based micro-segmentation, which limited cross-platform analysis and campaign targeting.

These segments help you understand how your users travel, how often they go abroad, how many countries they visit, and how long they stay. With this insight, brands can identify frequent travelers, occasional tourists, or business commuters, enabling more relevant offers across markets.

What it does:

It adds support on iOS for three new travel-based micro-segments that reveal how your users move across borders:

  • Frequent travelers: people who take multiple international trips over time.
  • Time spent abroad: how many days users typically stay away from home.
  • Global explorers: users who visit several different countries.

These insights help you understand whether someone is a frequent flyer, a business commuter, or an occasional vacationer, enabling more relevant, timely offers across markets.
