Causal Artificial Intelligence, refers to a branch of artificial intelligence (AI) that aims to understand and model cause-and-effect relationships in data. While traditional AI methods focus on identifying correlations and patterns in data, causal AI goes a step further by attempting to understand the underlying causes and effects driving those patterns. Causal AI seeks to answer questions such as “What caused this outcome?” or “What would happen if we intervened in a certain way?” By identifying causal relationships, AI systems can make more accurate predictions and generate actionable insights.
