Intent are finalists , in the category which recognizes employers with 50 – 249 employees who have demonstrated an outstanding effort over the past 18 months to attract and retain women in their IT and technology teams.
How we did it
Our commitment to improving diversity is evident in our hiring practices:
Focused Recruitment:
We actively search for female hires at all levels, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent.
Anonymized Applications:
By removing names and other identifying details from applications, we strive to eliminate unconscious bias.
Gender-Neutral Language:
Our job adverts are carefully crafted to be free from gender-biased language.
Diverse Interview Panels:
We ensure that our interview panels are diverse to prevent any disadvantages to female applicants.
Partnerships:
We previously partnered with and sponsored ‘Women in Tech,’ supporting their initiatives to advance women in technology.
Welcoming Back Talent:
We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming back two female leavers into more senior roles, emphasizing our commitment to career growth and development.
These efforts have produced substantial results. In the past few years, we’ve observed a significant increase in female hires:
Empowering Women in Leadership
Intent HQ believes in leadership that reflects our values. We have successfully hired women into key leadership and management roles, including:
Our first General Counsel, ensuring balanced representation at the senior leadership level.

We offer extended maternity benefits, including sabbaticals, for women who want more time with their children.
