We’re hiring a Product Quality Lead! Join IntentOne to own UAT, data validation & release quality across complex data systems. Perfect for QA experts who thrive on edge cases & deep data!
The Opportunity:
This role sits within the Product & Tech organisation at Intent HQ and partners closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery and Client Success teams.
The Product Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring IntentOne releases are reliable, measurable, and customer-ready by owning UAT, data validation, and release quality practices across a complex, multi-source data platform.
IntentOne ingests and processes diverse customer and device signals, particularly in mobile and on device contexts, so this role requires strong technical fluency, systems thinking, and a deep comfort with data objects, telemetry, and edge case behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning UAT and release quality for IntentOne, ensuring new capabilities are validated end to end across UI, APIs, data pipelines, and downstream outputs before release.
- Developing deep understanding of the IntentOne data dictionary and system behaviour (profiles, events, enrichments, audiences, opportunities, exports), and using that understanding to design robust test coverage.
- Owns the data quality of our Device SDKs, acting as a high quality triage owner for defects and incidents: reproducing issues, isolating root causes, prioritising impact, and coordinating resolution across Product, Engineering, and Data.
- Regularly reports on the health of our Device SDK signals and enrichments (i.e. our microsegments)
- Leading data validation across diverse inputs, with a strong focus on device and mobile signal behaviour, identity linkage, privacy treatments, and data freshness and integrity.
- Designing and implementing scalable QA processes, including test plans, regression suites, automation strategies, and release gating criteria aligned to the IntentOne release cycle.
- Building and maintaining the quality documentation system: versioned test cases, known issues, release notes inputs, and change logs that track how product and data behaviour evolves over time.
- Partnering with Product Operations to ensure quality practices fit within the broader delivery and documentation framework, and that every release is auditable, explainable, and repeatable.
What you will do:
Core Responsibilities
- UAT ownership and release readiness
- Create and run UAT plans for each release, covering critical user journeys, APIs, pipelines, and customer-facing outputs.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and release gates with Product and Engineering, including go/no-go inputs.
- Coordinate UAT execution across internal stakeholders where required, ensuring feedback is captured and actioned.
- Data object fluency and validation
- Build deep working knowledge of IntentOne’s data model and objects and how they interlock across ingestion, enrichment, opportunity generation, audience building, and activation.
- Validate data correctness, consistency, lineage, and freshness across sources, including device signals, SDK events, CRM inputs, and third party enrichments.
- Develop repeatable validation methods, including checks for schema adherence, joins, identity stitching, deduplication, and edge case handling.
- QA process design and automation
- Build and maintain test suites: regression, smoke, integration, and data validation checks.
- Identify high value areas for automation and implement automated QA workflows in partnership with Engineering and Data teams.
- Continuously improve test coverage based on incidents, defects, feature changes, and platform evolution.
- Issue triage and defect management
- Own defect intake and triage: reproduce, isolate, assess impact, and prioritise with clear severity definitions
- Build a triage network across Engineering, Data, Product, and Support, ensuring fast routing and accountability.
- Track defects to closure, verify fixes, and ensure learnings are captured to prevent recurrence.
- Documentation, versioning, and change control
- Maintain versioned, audit friendly QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, validation queries, expected behaviours, and known issues.
- Produce stakeholder readable documentation that can be understood by audiences with varying technical depth and levels of English comprehension, using clear language, consistent structure, and where helpful visuals or examples.
- Ensure changes in product behaviour are reflected in documentation and release artefacts, supporting repeatable releases and customer confidence.
- Contribute to release notes inputs by translating technical changes into clear, test backed statements of what changed, who it impacts, and what to watch.
- Mobile and device signal quality focus
- Develop targeted validation approaches for mobile and device data, including event reliability, offline and retry behaviour, SDK versions, OS variations, and privacy constraints.Monitor common failure modes in device data pipelines and work with Engineering to strengthen observability and resilience.
Ensure privacy and compliance-related behaviours are validated as first-class quality requirements, not afterthoughts.
About Intent
You leave a trail behind you every day — and it says more about what you will do next than anything you have told a company directly. Your phone registers when you fall asleep and when you wake. Your mobile network notices your commute. Your browser remembers that you wandered onto a competitor's site last Tuesday — and the Tuesday before that. You move through the world, and the world quietly takes notes.
Most companies lose the detail. A large mobile network generates hundreds of billions of events every single day — too expensive to keep in raw form. So your rich, specific, wonderfully complicated life gets compressed into an average. You become “males 25–34 in the southeast who browsed upgrades.” A bucket. A segment. And then that bucket gets blasted with messages — because when you cannot tell what someone actually wants, the only strategy left is frequency. Send more, send often, hope something lands.
We built something different. Intent runs two types of intelligence in parallel. Our cloud engine reads billions of events a day — weblogs, payments, app signals, CRM records — and finds behavioural sequences: chains of small actions that unfold in a recognisable order before someone switches, upgrades, or leaves. Our on-device Edge AI sits directly on the phone, reading 16,000 signals and distilling them into 750 insights about your current state — without any of that information ever leaving the device.
We manage over 300 million customer profiles. We underpin $115 billion in customer value. We hold 49 patents in behavioural AI, privacy architecture, and on-device intelligence. We were named AI Business of the Year 2025. And Verizon — with large data science teams of its own — has been our customer for seven years, because what we have built over a decade of patents, learning, and rigorous product development cannot be easily replicated.

Our Values — In Practice
Human-first. No one is average. We start with individual reality, motivation, and context — not statistical convenience or abstract users.
Principled. Privacy is a human right — a design principle, not a legal afterthought. Trust is foundational, not optional.
Ambitious. We anticipate the edge — looking ahead early and building what others assume cannot yet be built.
Inclusive. Intentionally relevant. Every interaction should earn its place — serving simply, with clarity in product, communication, and action.
In service. We serve simply — to our customers, to each other, and to the work itself. No unnecessary complexity, no ego in the way.
